"From the very first lesson, Ms. Lizzy has shown a great deal of patience and she certainly had her ways to keep my daughter interested and engaged. My daughter sometimes could get really frustrated quickly. However, Ms. Lizzy was able to make things work for her very well. For example, when my daughter got stuck on a difficult passage or a new bowing or fingering pattern, and was on the verge of getting emotional, Ms. Lizzy would guide her to play something my daughter was familiar with, and it worked wonder to calm her down and reestablish confidence. She will then guide her back later to tackle the place where she was stuck on. In addition, she would also take quality time to converse with my daughter and guide her on how to handle challenges in each new song and techniques."
